Analog photography from Panama and Colombia
The light of the neighborhood
This photo series documents everyday life in Panama and Colombia and forms the basis for my first solo photography exhibition. The images were captured with an analog camera and lie at the intersection of documentary photography and observational reportage.
My photograph “Checker Mate” received an Honorable Mention at the International Photography Awards 2025 (IPA).
As part of this project, I also learned to develop my analog photographs myself, from the film to the finished print.
